| 나는 지난 6월 인천 송도 국제도시에서 있었던 전시'유령'에 참여하면서 동명의 프로젝트를 수행한바 있다. 이 작업은 현재 입주작가로 있는 경기창작센터에서 다시 시도 되었고, 창작센터내에 놓여진 두개의 '평상'을 가장 중요한 모티브로 삼고있다. 지역공동체의 풍경에 빠짐없이 등장하는 평상과 같은 공공재의 자발적 존재하기와 민주적 쓰임을 적극적으로 전유하면서 평상우에 연출된 '함바집' 혹은 '일시적인 연대의 장소'를 관객들에게 제공하고자했다. |

When I was participating the exhibition <The Invisible>, I gave a same title of the project. This piece is tried and shown at GCC where I stay in as a residency artist.I focused on two 'low wooden benches' placed in GCC as the most important objects. I intend to provide 'Hambajib' created including two low wooden benches, or a 'place the temporary solidarity' for viewers, exclusively possessing voluntary existing and democratic use of such public materials as the low wooden bench which never fail to appear in the landscape of local community. |
